It’s spring time here in the UK. The weather is still a little chilly at times and we are having plenty of April showers but there is also warm sunshine at times and longer days to keep the spirits up. I love watching the world around me waking up from it’s winter sleep and thoughts of getting down to the allotment are appealing to say the least. This weekend I shall be planting potatoes and spring garlic. For now though I shall be settling down with a cuppa and the May editions of Gardeners’ World magazine. Heaven.
