I have just finished listening to the audiobook of The Moving Finger by Agatha Christie on Audible. It was rather wonderfully read by Richard E Grant. This is another case solved by Miss Marple but only after all the necessary information is gathered by Jerry Barton. In fact he would have solved the case himself if only he had a little more ‘confidence’. Of course Miss Marple is more in tune with evil ways and soon reveals the real culprit and their motive.

Do you know I can’t think of another author whose stories I enjoy in so many different formats. I love to read, listen or watch Christie. Listening to a well narrated telling is always a joy and always leaves me in awe of her storytelling genius. I am now keen to watch the tv adaptation again to see how well they captured it. Very enjoyable and another 5 star read for me.
